To fulfil its mission CASA requires a large body of dedicated, committed volunteers. In return, CASA offer volunteers learning opportunities that will equip them with experiences and skills that will benefit them in future life and employment.

Although rewarding, the work involves long hours and makes demands of volunteers. This is something each person must consider before applying. This section will give you some insight into what is expected of volunteers.

To be a volunteer you need to have a genuine interest in caring for people. The role of the volunteer includes welcoming clients to the house and assisting those with disability. Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and are of varying age. Volunteers may give varying lengths of commitment from three months to one year. Each volunteer works as part of a team and is given all necessary support and guidance.
